Cameron Diaz on pubes

US model-turned-actress Cameron Diaz has weighed in on the pubic debate in her latest book – “The Body Book”. Her comments in favor of keeping a natural bush are the part of the book that’s attracted the most attention from the world’s media, spawning articles like this, this and this, among others.

She says “Personally, I think permanent laser hair removal sounds like a crazy idea. Forever? I know you may think you’ll be wearing the same style of shoes forever and the same style of jeans forever, but you won’t. The idea that vaginas are preferable in a hairless state is a pretty recent phenomenon, and all fads change, people.” She has a point.

While you probably can regrow to some extent if you back out part way through laser treatment, the full course is pretty permanent as far as we know.

The star of “There’s Something About Mary” and “Charlies Angels”, who apparently forced Gwyneth Paltrow to rein in her bikini line appears to be a recent convert to natural pubes.
