I’m 28 and when we were 10 or 12, my gfs and I couldn’t wait to get pubic hair to be all grown. And now we laugh, because almost as soon as we got pubic hair, we started shaving it in one form or another, either trimming it close or shaving it in varoius shapes (it was a very experimental time for us as a group, I will say), and then in high school we were pretty much shaving everything smooth. Come to think of it, I kind of like my guys that way too. Trimmed close in places and smooth in other places. My personal opinion is that nobody likes a mouthful of hair.

Oh, at 14 it was purely experimental and “oh, that looks cute”. We were a close group. In a year-round school system, we had been in the same class all through elementary school and into middle school. It wasn’t until a couple years later (once we got to high school) that it actually had a ‘purpose’.

Really Bryan… Shaving has been linked to HPV. Do you even know what that is? I am guessing not. Almost all of the studies linking any kind of STD to hair removal have been un-scientific and with test cases of less then 100 people. The last few I read did not even compare the %’s of STD with people who had not removed or shaved their pubic hair. My guess is that those rates are also skewed by a possible fact that people who are enjoying the trimming and shaving of pubic hair are engaging in sexual activity much more often.
